Samsung to Drop 3.5mm Headphone Jack from Upcoming S8 copying iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
Apple recently released two new iPhones iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
having no headphone jack and it was a shock for customers that they will have
to use lightning EarPods and other third party lightning headphones to use on
their phones also they were in a confusion that how will they be able to charge
and listen to music simultaneously on which a lot of companies like Huawei One
Plus etc bashed Apple and made fun of them.
Recently North Korean smartphone giant Samsung released its
Note series flagship smartphone called the Note 7 it was a pretty decent phone
in every aspect until news claiming Note 7 exploded popped up and like 60 Note
7 exploded while charging report says after this Note 7 battery exploding
incident Samsung has dropped a lot of market share worth 19 billion dollars and
also people are not buying Note 7 and US Aviation
Administration has also
banned Note 7 on flights resulting in Samsung to recall Note 7 and now they are
refreshing Note 7 lineup and replacing them for previous buyers for free.
Samsung as a company is in a huge problem and they have
decided to launch S8 before it was expected to be launch. Samsung is doing this
to overcome the loss caused by Note 7 failure and reported are suggesting that
Samsung will also be removing Headphone jack from S8 and putting in other port
for headphone jack.
On September 7 Apple Event Phill Schiller said it requires
courage to do that is right in the long term also in iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Apple
has included a lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack from which one can connect any
standard 3.5mm headphone jack with lightning port.
