iPhone 7 and 7 Plus New Color Option Jet Black Prone to Scratches

Jet Black iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

Every year Apple refreshes its iPhone lineup and this time they had an event on Sept 7 for the revealing of the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, although design is quite similar to the previous iPhone 6 and 6 Plus having almost similar size shape dimensions but they have changed the placement of antenna bands and added few new features double the hardware improvements and also removed a headphone jack which is taking internet by storm.

Apple always do good on the Operating System and Hardware side but I guess now they are lacking new design ideas as they have not changed the design of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus completely instead they added two new color options for the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus one is called “Black” and the other color option is called the “Jet Black”, The simple black version is a replacement of the Space Grey color and it is now deeper black with matte finish with blackish Apple logo.

The other color the Jet Black is shiny glossy black, In the Apple keynote it looked like it had the same kind of material used in the iPhone 3G and 3GS but in this case quality is much more improved and have more polished shiny surface, although Apple claims that this color option has the same grade of hardness as the other colors available for iPhone line up but they have clearly written on their website on the iPhone 7 section that iPhone in Jet Black color option can be scratched and therefore we should use a case on our phone to protect it.

What I think is there is no point of that Jet Black color even though it looks cool but if it isn’t durable and we have to use a case we should think before buying it but on the other hand big companies play safe and even if the device is clear from defects and their is a slight chance they still write it for not getting sued afterwards if something bad happens obviously considering how social media spreads a news all across the globe.

So for the viewers who are looking forward to buy the Jet Black iPhone wait till Sept 16 17 so that reviewers buy it and we will see reviews on the YouTube that what is the reality behind Jet Black iPhone's.

I hope it isn’t a cheap plasticy material which gets scuffed and scratched easily.

Hope to see you around
