Apple Increases Storage Options for Previous iPhone and iPad Lineup

Previously Apple was made fun of having 16GB and storage as base option and jumping straight upto 64GB Model and there was no 32GB model. People claimed that it was a marketing gimmick by Apple to sell greater storage iPhone to get greater margin in profit.

Since the launch of Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus last night Apple announced two new colors for the iPhone 7 lineup the Jet Black and Black whereas they ditched the 16GB Model iPhone as base variant and replaced it with 32GB, 128GB and 256GB respectively.

All was fine until the CEO Tim Cook announced that they have removed 16GB iPhone 6S and 6S Plus and replaced it with 32GB storage model and the new lineup now consist of 32GB and 128GB model they have discontinued the 64GB model also iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have been removed from the lineup.

Also Apple has decreased price of iPad Pro and they did the same with the iPad Storage now a new 32GB Variant is available on the Apple website, iPad Mini 2 is available in 32GB Storage Option only iPad Mini 4 with 32GB and 128GB iPad Air 2 with 32 128 and 256GB whereas iPad Pros the 12.9 inch and 9.7 inch are available in 32 128 and 256 GB Variants.


This is a quite good step from Apple’s side.
