Apple is known for it’s high end laptop range called the Macbook it comes in two different category the Macbook Pro and the Macbook Air, both are commonly used among professionals for video editing rendering and other high end professional work.
Xiaomi a Chinese electroncs company located in Beijing China was found in 2010 and it got famous for its cheap yet high end smart phones by high end we mean better specs available in the same price range than others, But recently Xiaomi has entered the Laptop/Notebook market and revealed its new upcoming Mi Notebook Air.

It is much like a Macbook Air but with a big price cut and Windows as an operating system though it is not Xiaomi’s first Windows device they have released a Windows tablet in the past but this is literally a game changer this Mi Notebook has two variants one with 12.5 inches and other with 13.3 inches Full HD Display,
Mi Notebook Air is 11% smaller than the Macbook Air which is also 13.3 inches. Mi Notebook Air has full backlit keyboard and you maybe wondering what about ports on this device because of its slimness, Mi Notebook Air has two USB 3.0 Ports one USB Type-C Port One HDMI Port and a headphone and MicroSD Card slot also Mi Notebook Air being a logo less classy notebook Xiaomi decided to make some stickers to make it look unique and more classy.
Both variants have different specs keeping their size in mind. Below are the complete specs for both models as listed on Xiaomi’s website.

The 13.3 Inch Mi Notebook Air


It has an Intel Core i5 clocked at 2.7GHz, 8GB DDR4 Ram and 256GB PCI-Express Solid State Drive. It has a NVIDIA Geforce 940 MX Graphics Card and Xiaomi  says it can play games like Dota 2 on high framerates.

The 12.5 Inch Mi Notebook Air


It is equipped with Intel Core M3 Processor 4GB of DDR4 Ram and 128GB of PCI-Express Solid State Drive (SSD). This smaller version also has edge to edge glass display which is also 1080P FULL HD. 

Both the version are similar they only differentiate by their screen size.

Battery Timings and Pricing
 

So you guys might be thinking all of the good stuff is mentioned above what about the battery life and pricing so let me clear you guys the 13.3 inch Mi Notebook Pro gives 9.5 Hours battery time and charges upto 50 % in 30 minutes whereas the smaller version gives whooping 11.5 hours. The 13.3 inch version weighs almost 1.28 Kilogram with the help of it’s light weight metallic body similar is with the smaller version weighted at 1.07 Kilogram.



Xiaomi is selling it with and without GPU which means if we are buying with GPU it will cost around 750$ and if we buy without GPU it will cost 540$ which is very cheap comparing with the Macbook Air and Pro.
